LOCHTUNE plays the songs of Scotland, Ireland, and the high seas -- plus a few of our own. And we're not above a rock n' roll cover or two.
We're four folks from around Lakeville, MN who play fiddle, mandolins, guitar, bass, whistle, bodhrán, and sing together in multi-part harmony.
Don't think that because some of our songs are over 200 years old, we're some kind of museum act. We play this music because it's fun, and because a room full of strangers shouting the same chorus is one of the better things available to a body on a Friday night.
Expect to sing along. Expect to laugh between songs. Some nights, folks get up and dance who had no intention of dancing.
